Focus Question: What are some Holiday's that Hungarians Celebrate?
Hungarians celebrate many holidays. Some are the exact same as the US, some are similar, while some are completely different. The US and Hungary both celebrate New Year's Day (Jan. 1) and Christmas Day (Dec. 25). Hungary also celebrates an Easter and a “Labor Day”, but the Labor Day is on May 1st, and their Easter is on a Monday. Other Hungarian Holidays include, 1848 Revolution Commemoration and Day (March 14-15), Whit Monday (May 16) , Republic Day (Oct. 23) , and All Saint's Commemoration and Day (Oct. 31- Nov. 1)
