Hungarian Art:
Focus Question: How is Hungarian art similar and different that our art in the United States?
Hungarian Art and US Art are similar and different in many ways. They are similar in that they depict scenes of everyday life and famous figures or groups of people. US Art includes more images of the US, like famous wars, historical events (ie. Underground Railroad) and US Landscape, while Hungarian Art is more about the people of Hungary. Some Hungarian Paintings show daily lives of Hungarians, some show deaths or births, while almost all of them include some sort of frame or border around the painting. Hungarian modern art also usually follows one main color scheme, like a painting with all shades of blue, or all oranges and reds. US Paintings generally have a lot of depth, which is space in between objects in the painting while Hungarian Art usually has less depth, which means the objects in the painting are close together)
